Personal Finance (Ms. CoCo)

Two-Semester Course
This engaging finance course puts students in the driver's seat of life from ages 22 to 42, allowing them to simulate real-world financial decisions and experience the consequences of their choices.
Students will explore key aspects of personal finance, including career selection, budgeting, investing, homeownership, and more, while making choices about cars, apartments, spouses, and financial goals. With each decision, they will create and adjust budgets, learning firsthand how financial planning impacts long-term success and stability.
This interactive and engaging course helps students develop smart money habits, avoid financial pitfalls, and gain the confidence to manage their future finances responsibly.
$300 per semester.
Registration:
To begin the registration process, please complete the Student Information Form. Once submitted, you will receive an email with your student’s registration status and next steps.
Please note that registration is not considered complete until all required family forms have been submitted and the registration and material fees have been paid.
Refund Policy
EMA Direct-Pay Funds: Payments made using EMA direct-pay funds are non-refundable once processed. However, credit may be issued for future classes.
Material Fee: $50
A material fee is required to secure your child’s spot in Fall 2025 classes. This fee covers student coursebooks and all necessary class supplies.

Full Refunds: Cancellations made at least 4 weeks prior to the class start date are eligible for a full refund.
Filling Your Spot: If you cancel within 4 weeks of the class start date and your spot is successfully filled, a full refund will be issued.
Partial Refunds: Cancellations made between 2 and 4 weeks prior to the class start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
No Refunds: Cancellations made during the semester are not eligible for refunds.
