Hands-On STEM

Curiosity-Driven. Hands-On. No Homework Required.
This weekly STEM Lab is designed for students who love to build, experiment, test ideas, and explore how the world works — without the pressure of homework. Each session is a fully immersive, hands-on experience where students become engineers, scientists, designers, and problem-solvers.
Students will tackle exciting lab challenges such as engineering catapults, designing renewable energy systems, creating chemical reactions, building bio-inspired models, exploring physics through motion experiments, and solving real-world survival scenarios. Every class is structured around active experimentation, teamwork, and guided discovery.
This is not a lecture-based course. It’s a lab-driven experience where students:
Ask big questions
Design and test prototypes
Analyze results
Improve their ideas
Collaborate in small teams
Concepts in physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science, and engineering are introduced through interactive challenges rather than worksheets. Students develop critical thinking, creativity, resilience, and scientific reasoning — all within class time.
Perfect for curious thinkers, creative builders, and students who learn best by doing.
Registration:
To begin the registration process, please complete the Student Information Form. Once submitted, you will receive an email with your student’s registration status and next steps.
Please note that registration is not considered complete until all required family forms have been submitted and the registration and material fees have been paid.
Material Fee: $100
A material fee is required to secure your child’s spot in Fall 2025 classes. This fee covers student coursebooks and all necessary class supplies.
Refund Policy
EMA Direct-Pay Funds: Payments made using EMA direct-pay funds are non-refundable once processed. However, credit may be issued for future classes.

Full Refunds: Cancellations made at least 4 weeks prior to the class start date are eligible for a full refund.

Partial Refunds: Cancellations made between 2 and 4 weeks prior to the class start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
No Refunds: Cancellations made during the semester are not eligible for refunds.
