Building a Zipline STEM Class

Take on the challenge of designing and testing in our Building a Zipline STEM class! In this hands-on activity, students will collaborate in teams to create a carrier capable of safely transporting a ping pong ball down a zipline.

Throughout the class, students will:

  • Engage in problem-solving and teamwork to design an effective zipline carrier.

  • Experiment and troubleshoot to address challenges during practice runs.

  • Apply principles of physics and engineering to refine their designs for optimal performance.

This exciting activity fosters creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, making it a perfect introduction to real-world STEM problem-solving!

Class Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy ensures fairness and clarity for all participants:

  1. Full Refunds:

    • Cancellations made at least 14 days before the class start date are eligible for a full refund.

  2. Partial Refunds:

    • Cancellations made 10 days before the class start date will receive a 50% refund.

  3. No Refunds:

    • Cancellations made within 5 days of the class start date are not eligible for a refund.

  4. Class Cancellation by Us:

    • If the class is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, all participants will receive a full refund.

  5. Transfers: this is the only option if payment was made with scholarship funds**

    • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another individual or reschedule for a future class (subject to availability).
