Minecraft Class

$275.00
10 available

In this mostly online class, we will play Minecraft Java Edition (survival mode) together on a private server as we discuss strategies and share stories and ideas.

Content is driven by the students, and cooperation is highly encouraged. This can include exploring, building projects, battling monsters, and anything else that captures the imagination of the group. If a student prefers to play on their own during class, that's fine, too!

Ages 11-17

18-week course / $275 per student

***Use Coupon Code STEPUP If your child receives the scholarship and I will reach out about setting up the direct-pay payment.

**Please reach out if you are interested in a class for younger ages and we will try to make it happen

RULES
There are basically two rules:
1. Be constructive, not destructive. We all play in the same world, so we don't want it destroyed.

2. No antagonistic play. The server is to be a safe place for all, so no griefing, stealing, attacking without consent, teasing/bullying/trolling, etc.

Class will be held virtually on Fridays 10:00-10:55 with the exception of the first and last class of the semester which will meet on Saturday (the day after our regularly scheduled classes). The first class will be a meet-and-greet where we get to know each other and talk Minecraft. The last class will be an end-of-semester party where we come together to celebrate all the fun things we did in our world.

Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the two in-person meetings. They’re going to be tons of fun!

In person meet & greets will be at Space Coast Academics on January 11th and May 17th

On-line classes will meet on:

January 17, 24, 31

February 7, 14, 21, 28

March 7, 14, 28

April 4, 11, 18, 25

May 2, 9

Requirements: Students need Java Edition (1.21.4) in order to join our class server. Bedrock, console, android, and IOS clients will not work!!! Students also need a computer or laptop, stable internet connection, and zoom to join our live online classes each Friday.
