This hands-on, multi-experiment science course invites middle school students to dive into the scientific process through a series of engaging, diverse experiments. Covering key areas of science—including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science—students will explore the principles that shape our natural world while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
In this course, students will:
Design and conduct experiments: Learn to ask questions, form hypotheses, and test them through observation and data collection.
Analyze and interpret results: Develop skills in identifying patterns, drawing conclusions, and presenting findings.
Explore a range of topics: Experiments may include exploring chemical reactions, investigating ecosystems, studying forces and motion, and examining the properties of matter.
Work collaboratively: Collaborate in teams to brainstorm ideas, share responsibilities, and communicate discoveries.
Apply real-world connections: Relate classroom experiments to real-world challenges, such as environmental conservation or technological innovation.
Through a blend of guided instruction and student-led inquiry, this course encourages curiosity, creativity, and a passion for discovery, making science come alive in every session!
