Tynker Coding Summer Camp (Ages 10+)
July 21st - 25th 1:00-4:00
Programming 201
Campers will dive into the fundamentals of coding by building two exciting arcade-inspired games from scratch!
In The Adventure Game, students program a knight who must defeat enemies and collect treasure. They’ll master controlling arrow keys, creating smooth motion, defining hero and enemy behaviors, and setting winning conditions. In Dragon Attack, students design multiple levels, manage lives, and create a boss enemy, all while learning about variables and cloning.
Throughout the course, students will learn advanced programming concepts like loops, messages, parallelism, and complex logic to create their own interactive multi-level games. By the end, they’ll have a deep understanding of how to build complex games and share them with the world.
All that’s needed is a computer or iPad with a camera and internet access. No downloads required!
$300 per camper (Direct-Pay Provider)
