In this hands-on workshop, campers will explore the basics of coding using Tynker’s drag-and-drop platform—perfect for beginners and those with some coding experience. From building interactive stories and games to exploring animation and logic puzzles, kids will sharpen their problem-solving skills while having a blast.

What to Expect:

  • Create your own games and animations

  • Learn the fundamentals of coding with fun, visual challenges

  • Explore programming logic, sequencing, loops, and events

  • Build confidence and creativity through tech

No experience needed—just curiosity and imagination! Whether you dream of making the next hit game or just want to try something new, this camp is the perfect place to start your coding journey.

Technical Requirements:

- Works on modern laptops, Chromebooks, or Netbooks

- Requires Internet access (SCA has wifi)

- Compatible with Chrome (29+), Firefox (30+), Safari (7+), or Edge (20+)

- No downloads or installations are required

$300 per camper (Direct-Pay Provider)

Refund Policy:

Cancellation Timeline & Refund Amount

  • More than 3 weeks before camp starts → Full refund minus a $50 admin fee

  • 2–4 weeks before camp starts → 50% refund (or camp credit for future use)

  • Less than 2 weeks before camp starts → No refund (but consider allowing a transfer to another session if space allows)

  • EMA Direct-Pay Funds: Payments made using EMA direct-pay funds are non-refundable once processed. However, credit will be issued toward future classes.

Emergency & Medical Refunds

  • Full refund (or prorated refund if camp has started) for medical emergencies with a doctor’s note.

Behavioral Dismissals & Absences

  • No refund if a child is dismissed due to behavioral issues.

  • No refunds or make-up days for absences.
